Nellie Kim & Bruno Grandi Get Reelected

Former Soviet gymnast Nellie Kim was reelected as Women's Technical Committee President for 2013-2016 Olympic cycle at the 79th FIG congress in Cancun (MEX) today with 92 votes. Kim was first elected to the Women's Artistic Gymnastics Technical Committee in 1996 where she moved soon afterward to the U.S. Kim helped in designing the open ending scoring system which ended the use of the perfect 10.Italian Bruno Grandi was also reelected as the FIG president as he won with a total votes of 68 against 24 and 14 for his opponents. Grandi has been working as the FIG president since 1996.
