The American team beat the Russians in the team competition winning their first Olympic gold medal since 1996. The Russian gymnasts burst into tears when they knew they have lost the gold after one of their teammates made a major mistake during her floor exercise routine.
" So great to see those Russians crying" said Ferrell on Conan " Oh my God I was laughing so hard".

ReplyDeleteWell, I don't know how this... human being?? can be considered a comedian, but the worst was that the crowd was laughing at any stupid word he was saying. The people that can speak that way for a team that only has winning two times in their whole history that medal is completely ignorant. I really think that there is a huge difference between both teams, the russians are artistic young ladies, meanwhile americans are strong and acrobatic, but both are good in their way. I only think that the russians maybe can be helped to be stronger inside, I remember they was crying a lot the two times that americans won that medal... pity because they show weakness or commiseration even if that is not their intention, for example I admire Viktoria Komova, but seeing her cry a lot was not good for her popularity, at the end she was competing devastated, instead of demostrating how good is she. I really like, enjoy and respect both teams, each one has their own good and bad things, as example of bad things on the american team was MacKayla Maroney's bad attitude. Positivism and good manners are everything.
